I have sold on Loupe Troop and here. In my experience I have not had anyone ask what I paid. Maybe they asked what the item retailed for. If I wanted to post that in the thread, I'm sure I did. I don't recall asking what someone paid. I have no doubt, especially with a designer piece I would have done research to see what the item retailed for. Life is different for all of us. I don't think it's right or wrong either way. I guess it's about a comfort level for both buyer and seller.

The ones in this band are .10 carat and I’m hoping to double it to .20. I’m not sure about the mm. Honestly, I trust Victor Canera so much that I generally say “make it pretty” and he does his magic. He designed the band I am selling with little input from me. I approved the size of the stones, but in my mind, they were bigger :razz:

That's pretty much how I approach vendors with my custom projects as well :lol:

Anyways, how exciting! Dust for a quick sale so you can get a move on with the "big sister" to this one.
 
To all- this band is really nice and it will find its proper home. So, I hope that anyone interested would send me an email and we can chat. If It doesn’t find a home, it will remain with me as Victor has offered to add pave to the sides in order to make it a RHR. Love to all.

Great that there are alternatives. Either way it is all good. Sometimes a piece will sell, and it surprises you. You may offer it at close to cost or you may offer it at a significant discount. Different people have different reasons for buying things. It could be convenience, availability, price, anything. And a seller will decide on a price and live with the outcome. You are looking at it in the best way for your situation @NicoleNeedsHelp. Best of luck no matter what happens. With Victor making it, it will be beautiful regardless.

And I'm going to give you my 2c about this band (even though you did not ask for it). :lol: I totally get that it was not as big as you thought it would be. BUT.......... if you let it just sit and simmer, maybe for 6 months, a year, two years even, you might get to a point where you look at your ering a little differently and find that this "smaller" band does work. Or you might find that you enjoy it stacked with other bands on your other hand. Or you might find you like the unique sparkle of french cuts by itself when you want a low-key very unique kind of sparkle. So although I do hope you get what you want, I am rooting for this beautiful band and hope it stays in your collection a bit longer so you really get to know how it could work as your collection grows and changes, and as your preferences develop.

Hi all. I’m feeling a bit crazy today (I’ve been outside doing landscaping all day and I’m so pooped out!) and I wanted to offer this band for $5000. It is well below what I wanted, but beggars can’t be choosers :lol: Unless someone swipes this up, it will go back to Victor to add some pave to the sides for a RHR. Listing is on LT.

I hope someone takes advantage of this great opportunity! I wish I could!

Not that my opinion matters, but I also hope you don't add pave to the sides. It's a band mean to be worn with another ring, and I don't think adding pave will make it a RHR. Adding other stackers would make it wearable as a RHR, though. I think adding pave to the sides will just make it harder to sell later due to not being good to wear with another ring anymore.

Why does this have to be my left ring finger size and why does it have to go so well with my wedding band for the ultimate stack?! I just spent a pretty penny last month on jewelry so I’ve been trying to be good but I can’t ignore this any longer LOL. I’m definitely interested! Let me know if there is a way to contact you other than LT. If not, I will wait patiently for LT.

Yes I’m in LA. I don’t live in DTLA like I did back then but I’m still close! I would not mind meeting up in person.

How great that you two live close to each other! I was very tempted by this ring because it would have been perfect with my antique asscher ring, but since I have other things in progress, it's probably for the best! If for any reason Muluver changes her mind, put me next on the list just in case I can work it out. I still cannot get on LT.
