You all are too kind. She loves it and so do I! The lotion she uses fogs up the diamond, I told her I should have gone with a super included stone to save a lot of money...In retrospect, why did I stress over the clarity?

I meant to say, as well... Ah the pain of keeping diamonds clean! Invest in an ultrasonic! I clean my ring with an ultrasonic, very hot water, some Fairy Liquid (or whatever your local liquid washing up soap equivalent is - here Fairy Liquid is the best!) And then use a soft toothbrush, rinse, and dry it on some paper towel.

Other cleaners and methods are available.

Honestly you wouldn't know the ring was the same!

The only issue is that one might become a tad obsessed and clean it at least once a day if not more...

Does excessive cleaning have an impact to the rhodium coated white gold band?

Great question, not sure. Suspect if it does that it is very minor and not so much more than normal wear and tear. Also having the ring look sparkly and clean will be amazing, way better than protecting the rhodium.

I have some friends with white gold bands where the rhodium is coming off - I have cleaned the ring for them and always the ring looked so much better, despite the rhodium loss that's already there.
