Brown Pinkish Orange! Not an FCD, an FCS!

Hi iLander. Just got back from IDJ. They showed me a cast which had 12 5 pointers instead of 10 in 14kt white gold. They quoted around $1,000 for that, which sounds reasonable. May be $50 more than it should be, but in the ballpark. Was yours 14kt or 18kt white gold? Thank you!

That's a great price, there are more diamonds to buy and more diamonds to set, so of course it'll be a bit more. Mine is 14K.

Next time you go, take some pictures of their great pieces and start a thread about "A visit to IDJ", lots of PSers do that. It's just for fun and we're all about pictures here. If you take pictures of their colored diamonds you can post here in colored stones where we can all oogle it.

Thanks for your input iLander! I think I am fine with the setting, thanks to your thread!

I am not too sure about the quality of their Sapphire though. They have only shown me one that fits this setting thus far, and are trying to be somewhat pushy that it's a great stone, but I think that there is some zoning going on there in the upper half of the stone. I'm posting a few pics here. The pics are not great, but those were the ones I could manage with my phone. Somehow, my Droid Maxx fails to focus if I try to get too close to the stone. Quick question, iLander. Is it reasonable expect a GIA report from IDJ about the 12 5 pointers? Or do they not usually give reports for diamonds that small? Thank you!
