Sorry I am still less expensive, I am Still cheaper at $75 less on one carat, (even if it is $1 less it proves my point)
Try bigger stones $ amount will add up to more savings. Why hasn't anybody tried to compare 5 difeerent sites.
(In respond to mara's comment your prices are not that great, no one proved it so far. especially her.)

You seem to have a disconnect between bottom line price & value. The GOG stone has better value from a consumer's point of view. Plus, it's a nicer stone than the *nominally* (1%+/-)less expensive one.

Read between the lines next time. What I meant is that your stone prices are not good enough for me to overlook OTHER things, like the complete lack of information you give. It's not JUST about prices, and I tell this to customers on here all the time.




Even if your stones are $75 cheaper...your prices are NOT GOOD ENOUGH for me to ever waste more than a second of time on your website...I would take the GOG stone hands down, every time, over and over and over with pleasure and screams of ecstacy.




Nor am I going to waste my time by comparing stones on various sites...you may have that kind of time on your hands, but I don't....nor do I care. Again, it's not just about low prices--it's about the value.

This is my last post on this thread, because it of course has digressed into the ridiculous, quite on par for any of Diamondsman's posts when he feels like someone 'attacked' him or his website. Grow up!

for somewhat reason you hate vendors that are opinionnatd and dont agree with your analysis,( like g.i.a certts. are not good enough because they dont have cr angles ior pavillion depths on their certs.), check postings on her remrks on superbcert, when lenoid posted that he has taken them out, she was against them too, look at her remarks.and without vendors this site would not exist.

BUT this is not the issue here! take my challange 5 sites same stones, check prices.

I wouldn't say it's that dopey--I think in this case PS has served its purpose quite well. The original poster basically wanted a review of buydiamonddirect, and I'd he got it in spades.

Besides, any thread that sends Mara into screams of ecstasy can't be all bad.

I haven't been posting here long enough to really have an opion about ANY poster. However, it did seem like diamondsman's response to Mara's first post was out of line and the reaction was disproportionate to what she said. I didn't interpret Mara's first post to be anything negative about the website. Anyone would want as much info as they could get when they are buying something as expensive as a diamond.

There are some things more important to me than just buying a product at the cheapest price. I will HAPPILY pay more for the exact same product in return for good customer service and good attitude. Like someone said in a previous post, you're going to be dealing with your jeweller for a long time, they might as well be someone that you like/respect as a person.

Are you still there scotpot?? I think you have more than enough info to come to a conclusion about the website in question.

Prove it.

What everyone is saying OVER and OVER is that it's not just about the price, it's about attitude. It's about doing business with someone that you respect. It's about who gets our hard-earned money.

Assuming, for the sake of argument, that you do in fact have the cheapest price, whatever savings that may be is not worth dealing with your attitude. I don't care if you are $1000 cheaper, I will gladly pay more for better service and better attitude.

You DO get what you pay for, and it seems that with you it's cheap service.

Oh, and I DID carefully read Mara's entire first post. I don't need you to tell me how to interpret things that I read. I'm a lawyer, people give me a lot of money for basically just reading comprehension skill.

How do you know about atitude if you havn't dealt with me on a personal basis.?I have not had any complaints from any of my customers,they all very happy and keep on coming back.And yes I stand to defend my business.She clearly tried to sway that customer away.
oh by the way to most people that are not in your status of getting paid for reading other people's problems,money does matter.I guess you are lucky .


my staff and I, give the best perosnal service to any one who calls in, with lots of reputable information,explanations,and most of all honesty,Otherwise I could've have lasted 30 years in this business.
