LOL. I hate it when I forget to add the pics! I do stuff like that at work all the time too - hit send and then go d''oh!

I think you should go with the Scott Kay/plain band for now, and save up for the diamond band.

What kind of a diamond band were you wanting? Maybe you can find one that's still in budget?

I had wanted WF to make me a replica of the Tiffany Jazz (1/2 eternity though) but the quote was about $1200. I''ve got $1500 total to work with, so with $900 going in to the setting....

I''ve been exploring other options on blingy palladium bands - if you see anything, let me know! LOL! Not a pave fan, but other than that I''m game!

I do so love 6 prong settings - but the double prongs softens the "square" effect I think. And everything else about the Scott Kay is just DIVINE. I *think* Pearlmans has the option of getting it without the surprise diamond (a band covers it up anyway) and I''m going to ask about that...

I''ve always been kind of fuzzy on what''s pave and what isn''t (anything with small stones is pave to me!), so this one may not fit what you''re looking for, but I think it might be lovely paired with the Scott Kay:

.25ctw WF Petite Open Band

I''ll see what else I can find.

I''ve been eyeing that one too actually, LOL! I need to email them and see what the cost is in Palladium...

I''m a bit biased, but I love that this band is durable like a plain band but has sparkle, too:

Comfort-Fit Scattered Diamond Band

(In palladium, of course, and I bet they''d make it thinner if you''d like.)

This one from uniondiamonds is in budget - but they give such crappy specs on the diamonds. "Near Colorless" Okaaaaay.... H?I?J? LOL

The thing with WF is they are charging more for palladium than WG, contrary to other places right now.

i love the peekaboo diamond. i asked about it being covered or the setting damaged, but with a low enough band, it was still visable. the setting i really want is...

How about something like this? It has bezel detail and starts at $598 in palladium.

ArtCarved Clarinda Band
OMG Fun! I love you, LOL. That one is definitely topping the list right now...

I wish they had better photos of it, but I think it looks promising!

I wonder if Beverly K works in palladium, because she has a few bezel bands that might be in budget if made into half eternities.

Nope - I asked Pearlman's already, LOL!

I have a call in to Knox too for a quote.

Have you looked at any of the settings from Knox? They have the Inspiration which is very similar to the Scott Kay setting you like and right now it''s running $990 in white gold - not sure what the palladium price is. http://www.knoxjewelers.biz/index.htm?crn=261&rn=797&action=show_detail

They also have the Legacy, which is very close as well, but it has diamonds on the band. But at $1090 you could maybe have them do it without the side stones and the price might be cheaper.

I have, and still like the Scott Kay better. I also inquired about Palladium, and they use Palladium WG, not 950 (at least for custom suff).

Thanks for the suggestion though!
