Hey Harleigh, did you feel the Earthquake a little while ago????? We felt a jolt, not sure what it was, then our house started rocking and rolling. Our dog Mazie went nuts barking and my parrot was squawking. The shaking actually made me feel dizzy.

I was wondering if you felt it there in Sacramento!!

I''m so sorry you had to deal with that tonight! How scary! I''m really glad you''re all okay! How are sweet Mazie and your parrot fairing now...have they settled down a bit? I grew up in Fairfield and remember enduring several earthquakes when I was younger, but they always seemed to happen when I was outside and they ended up being pretty *cool* as a kid!

So, no, I didn''t, but I didn''t get home until after 9 PM tonight, so I may have been in a store or driving, but from your post time, it seems like it was pretty recently. I''m pretty far up on the very tip of Roseville bordering Rocklin (on the way towards Lincoln off Hwy 65,) so I may have been too far away, too. I didn''t see anything on the news about it either...did they say what magnitude it was? I don''t know where you''re at, so I''m not sure how far away it would be felt.

On a sillier note, do you think I could use the earthquake excuse as a good reason for why my house is such a disaster??? This packing during the week and trying to move stuff during the weekend is taking its toll, and my poor house is suffering the brunt of it! Actually, I think a tornado is a better description of what it looks like!

Oh that''s right, I don''t know why I thought you were in Sacramento, a senior moment for me. HA!!!! It was a 3.9 based around Vallejo.

We felt it a lot because we were upstairs. Hope there aren''t anymore. Doesn''t matter if your house is messy, you are getting ready to be married. You have a good excuse. HA!!!

Wow, that was close for you! That''s funny that you are so close to where I grew up...my father was stationed at Travis AFB and I lived there for over 9 years. My best friend lives in Vacaville and I still come down there for shopping at Solano Mall quite often. Next time I''m down that way I''ll let you know...maybe we can meet at the mall or somewhere nearby in Fairfield for lunch!

Yummy! I could use a break from all of the wedding stuff! School is out next Friday and then I have a shower on the 21st and 28th, so maybe sometime in early July? I''ll see what my best friend''s schedule is like and maybe I can come down for an early afternoon with you and an evening with her in Vacaville on my way home! With gas prices the way they''re getting, I''ll have to kill two birds with one stone and make it a dual purpose trip!
