The Rolex world can be challenging to navigate. It’s nice to have peeps to share and gripe with. LOL!
My experience with watch forums is quite different from PS. KWIM? Harder to get info from them, generally speaking.

@kgizo If you guys are near an AD now is the time to seriously go frequently and in the morning. They get more stock during holidays and you have a better chance right now. I just scored this one for my cousin as a wedding gift. He’s a guy. We lucked out so hard. The only SS datejust with smooth bezel.

That’s so awesome! It’s going to be a memorable wedding gift and he will love it! Glad you had such good luck after the other one sold out from under you. Is it a 36 or 41? The ADs near us aren’t super convenient and both said they would notify us if they got one in stock. Maybe we’ll swing by one tomorrow am as you suggested just in case. Fingers crossed.

DS has been asking everyday at the Rolex shop here in the hotel, they say they’re expecting something to arrive, they don’t know what, but so far nothing.

DH has a Datejust that he was given as a gift, he’s worn it maybe 12 times in total, but it’s just not his thing. Unfortunately, it’s not what DS wants either!

I would check out the ADs because there might be others that your DH might like, that aren’t what he originally thought. At least you
Might have the opportunity to try some others on. My AD says their stock increases on the major holidays. Your AD may not be calling because it’s not the exact config you initially requested. Good luck!

Asking every day is smart. It may seem a little extreme but it’s not if you really want one. My AD isn’t even allowed to call people to tell them. That’s the way her store works. No joke.
