I adore your weddind band! Can I get stats and where you got it, etc? I''m so tired of searching for a band I like but your e-ring is similar to mine and I think your band looks wonderful with it. Hope you don''t mind!

Wow, katomm, I''m so flattered! Of course I''ll share stats -- it''s modeled on the Tiffany alternating Jazz, but I had mine custom made by Brian Gavin Diamonds. It''s a 3/4 eternity that alternates 5-pointers and 2-pointers for a total of just over .6 ctw, set in platinum. Lesley also gave me a quote for white gold when I inquired, but since my e-ring is platinum, I knew that was what I wanted. I''m sure that if you want something very similar to this, since they have already made CADs and everything, it would be pretty quick and easy to have one made -- but even with the custom design process, I think it took about two weeks until I had it in-hand. I''m sure Lesley will know what ring you''re talking about if you contact her!

If you''re near a Tiffany, stop in and check out the alternating Jazz for an idea of how it will look with your ring, although I think the T&Co one has 4-pointers and 1-pointers, more or less, so mine is just a bit more substantial looking.

I''ve seen Octavia''s in real life, and I''ve seen the Tiffany''s too, and honestly her''s is better quality in my opinion. It is a band of pure and delicious fire! I''d love to get one myself some day with colored gems and diamonds. ;)

Many many thanks!!!

One more question......how many mm is it from top to bottom of the larger diamonds?

According to an email from Lesley, the 5-pointers are 2.4mm wide and the 2-pointers are 1.7mm. So, including the bezel metal, I think the band is 2.5mm at its thickest. The plain metal sizing area at the back is somewhere between the thick and thin sizes, probably about 2.3mm. Hope that helps!

ETA: oops, I just realized you said top to bottom -- that I don't know for sure, but the bezels of the larger diamonds are exactly the same height as the little bulge under the stone of my e-ring. I don't think I have a ruler with mm markings, but I'll have a look and see what I can do. If I can't find it, I'm sure that Lesley would have the exact dimensions. It does look like the larger diamonds could sit slightly lower, but the smaller ones are about as low as they could go. This is actually one big difference from the Tiffany band, because the diamonds are all set at the same height on that one -- but I like the symbolism of this one because it makes me think of "thick and thin, highs and lows."

This was a huge help thank you!!! You gave me the sizes I needed. I need to make a final decision mid week on what I''m going to do about my band situation so this has been really helpful. It''s sooooooo hard finding something I like 3 mm or smaller but yours is very pretty :)
