callus around the knuckle?

has anyone here ever grew a callus on their kuckle from taking their rings on and of every day....and if so did your knuckle eventually get bigger making your ring harder and harder to take on and off.....also how do you get rid of it!!!

That happened to me last summer when my fingers swelled up a bit, but it went away and everything went back to normal. The only thing that I really did was apply lotion. My finger size did not permanently change or anything.

but it is so wierd because my ring fits perfectly on my right hand ring finger but my left hand ring finger is so much bigger and it ue to be as small as the right hand what do i do?

Yes, it happened to me over time. Eventually it got to the point where it was making it extremely difficult to get my rings on and off and I really don''t like to sleep with them on. So I took a pumice stone and rubbed away as much of the callous as I could and it definitely made a difference. Give that a try and see if it works. Good luck!

Can''t you get your rings sized up a little bit so its not so difficult to get them on and off?

If the OP is like me, her knuckle is bigger than her finger so if you get the ring sized to easily slide over the knuckle, it just presents a different problem as the ring will swing around the finger once on. I have frequently considered getting sizing beads for my rings (and maybe that's an option for the OP). But so far have been able to make do with the ring at its current size and just trying to be careful about how and how frequently I take it off so as to not unnecessarily create the callous again.

yes it is true i do not want to get it sized up because then it will swing around or even fall off i just have to get tis dang knuckle to go back to normal i will try the pummice .... thank you so so much!

Are you left handed?

My right hand finger is about a half size larger - I''m right handed.

yes i am left handed and i have also had a callus on my left middle finger since the third grade and i hated it then HAHA i am finally getting rid of the problem with this callus remover stuff it is awesome i wish i had known about it sooner!
