Can I see your plain gold hoops?

No way!! Are they solid gold?

Wait I just realized that you might be talking about the TJ Maxx pair. Yes they are solid. Gold used to not be as expensive!

Sorry yep talking about the TJ max pair. That’s crazy how much the price of gold has risen!!! And I bet we all thought it was still so expensive way back then :D

I love all these hoops! I have stretched piercings, so hoops look terrible on my stretched holes! Keep the pictures coming! I can love vicariously through you gals!

Studiometals on Etsy has beautiful solid gold hoops, but many are smaller than the size you’re after because they are NOT all hollow so they have heft. But super sturdy, firm clasp and a beautiful taper. Check them out! They are my most worn earrings

these are their 13mm size in 14 palladium white gold

Thanks for sharing @Cerulean! I've been looking for oval hoops exactly like these. I contacted Studiometals to see if they can make me a pair in palladium white gold. I'm allergic to nickel.

They made me a 13mm pair, because I have an allergy to nickel too! They were quite a bit more expensive and only 14k. They have a warm, grey color. I find them beautiful and I wear them with platinum.

Here you can see a bit of a color difference with my platinum set. Sorry it isn't a great photo, but thought it might help a little. I personally don't mind it.

I've had them for almost 1.5 yrs and the closure is still perfectly strong.

@Cerulean thanks for the picture! The color is really nice.

Are you able to wear them backwards? I don't like seeing my ear piercing

I’ve never tried, but I don’t see why not. The back would definitely cover the piercing because of the shape

I just got a reply from Stuidometals. The earrings can be worn backwards. They'll send me a quote next week.

I got the quote back. it's a couple hundred more. I'll wait it out and see what happens to gold prices.
