Can you engrave platinum?

Question, you know how you see those really gorgeous plat rings with the engraving and milligraining? The antique styling. Is it possible to do that to a ring that you might already own. Like if you had a plain plat band could you get that done to it?

I''m 90% sure that''s a YES because I''ve heard of people going back for finishing touches... I imagine it would depend on the thickness of metal etc but I''d call and ask

Hand engraving is kind of an unusual skill these days and it takes a fair amount of practice to get good at it but with the right ring and the right craftsman, sure.

YES!!! My husband and I have platinum wedding bands and we had them hand engraved. Its really cool. They are hand engraved in an italic. It cost $100 each which may sound like a lot but considering its hand done not machine done, my husband and I think it was very worth it.
