Thought I would put an update about this ring and how much I adore it. I have had a lot of different rings over the last decade. My original engagement ring was a little blue topaz that I have given to my daughter. So I would buy, create, sell and repeat. It's always been fun to find things, enjoy them and pass along the fun. Usually relatively early on I already have picked out what I will change about the setting or what I don't 100 percent love about a stone. I can say that there is not a single thing about this diamond or ring that I would change. It just has so much presense without being uncomfortable to wear daily. I have had bigger stones but this one absolutely outshines them all (even my one ring that I regret selling). I just adore it. I stack it with different bands and change those out but all of my other rings have been in the safe. I did not actually think there was an old cut this perfect "for me". Avrs are just beyond beautiful. I have a couple special bands coming to go with the Casablanca and I am so excited.
Moral of the story is that you will not regret getting an AVR!
