Cats eye

Hi, my last purchase was a cats eye chrysoberyl.though it was ultra clean and had a sharp eye it dint have the milk and honey effect.it is a 9 carat stone with origin india.

Have you checked to make sure it isn't irradiated? There have been reports of cat's eye chrysoberyl from India being irradiated but I think yours might be fine since it isn't brownish. As an FYI, usually the milk & honey effect is prized and adds to the value of the gem.
