I just popped back in to again admire these decadent morsels.
Fabulous!!!
She thinks shes too pretty to sit in the jewelry box, and begged me for a little sun today
While I was out of town for a few weeks I sent my ring to gem cutter Boyd Fox, for him to evaluate if my stone was a good candidate for a slight recut/tweak. Before there was a small window that was most prominent in diffused daylight. Now it's completely window free!! And somehow the inclusions are hidden too making it eye clean!! It went from 1.18 to 1.08ct, a tiny loss that I was happy to trade for much better performance. No loss of face up size either. It is now the perfect stone for me, and I feel it's worth more $$$ with the better cut. A few quick pics for now, can't wait to see it in the sun!
I will probably have the prongs redone somewhere down the road by a better bench, but I can live with it for now
Aside from the gorgeous spinel... whose idea was it to set the princess diamonds on a bias? So rich looking! I just love the combo of larger mixed shapes and then the pave around the edges. Is this your favorite ring in your collection (especially now)?
Yes this is my current favorite ring and will be hard to top
It’s day and night difference!

So glamorous. How hard is it to tweak prongs to make them less bulky? My local jeweler doesn’t seem to have the skill to make prongs pretty when he sets my stones.
Lovely. Was the setting custom made? Sorry if you've already mentioned this somewhere.
Thank you @Autumn in New England! It's a really nice pink color, saturated but not too in your face like the spinel
