Side note: Gypsy and Freke, thanks so much for your help with the cake. You were totally right about the raspberry seeds, the first batch she made us had the seeds in there and it was so annoying have those seeds in my teeth. I had her make us a couple samples with her higher-priced seedless fruit mousse instead, and it was wonderful!! She folded it into the italian buttercream and it was fantastic, and so pretty too!! So thanks again!!!!!!
I didn't see this until just now, but I'm so glad that we could help! You're welcome!

ETA: I like the latest effort the best as well! They look great!

Oooooh, very pretty!! I like the mums and the grass the best!

and a picture of how it would look in dimmer lights, like will be at the reception.
I love this one as well! So pretty :) Did you make any decisions on what you''ll use?

I definitely love the last option the best! (with the beargrass and mums) Your tables will look absolutely beautiful!! It''s so funny how specific their rules are about candles, etc!

Karasue- I thought you of yesterday. The bubble ball vases that you''re using (8 inch ones- not sure if that''s the right size) are on sale for $2.99 at AC Moore. If you have one of those near you and still need to buy some it may be worth checking out. That''s $2 off each vase.

Thanks sap!! Unfortunately, I don''t think AC Moore is in Canada, and the vases we are using are 10". Thanks for thinking of me though!!!

I''m glad everyone likes the new version with the grass, I really like it too

Still going to ask around to find out how much we could get eiffel tower arrangements for, cuz I think high/low would look great. But I''m so relieved to have the low ones figured out!!

OMG i love this!!!!! we''re doing tall glass vases with submerged orchids, but have been trying to figure out something to do that was lower to alternate with the taller ones. can i steal this pic to show my florist and see what she could do similarly? they''re so pretty and unique! ya know, if the food coloring doesn''t work, i''m thinking peonies are pretty big without being insanely so and they come in pink--would those work? btw, i don''t know JACK about flowers other than what i do and don''t think is pretty, haha. really great centerpieces!

thanks doodle, of course you can use it!!!!! i''m so flattered!!!

don''t think peonies will work though....it''s going to be august so they will be out of season, and they are usually a bit too large for how much space is in this bowl. but thanks for the suggestion!!!

you just made my day!!! and FMIL''s too (it was all her idea, i was skeptical at first until i saw how it turned out)!!

hey, i warned ya that i don''t know anything about flowers, haha. that''s why i''m just doing orchids and calling it a day (besides, my florist charges a discount on flowers she likes to work with, so we''re getting orchids for like $2/stem instead of the usual 7+ so my wedding''ll look like the venue threw up orchids!

i''m so glad you don''t mind sharing--my FI thought they were really neat, too, and it''s rare that a man gets enthusiastic about a floral arrangement! thanks much!

I personally like option 2 with the roses and greenery. I think the different colors make it pop but it really depends on the color scheme you were going for.
