Chicago GTG? Gem Show May 23-25

Is anyone up for a GTG next weekend? Unfortunately this show is over Memorial Day weekend and I know a lot of people have plans...

Probably not, we''ve got friends in town, but if my memory serves correctly there might be a small GTG the following week because Skippy is going to be in town???

Skippy is going to be here! We're meeting at Grand Lux on Michigan Avenue for a late lunchon Tuesday the 27th. I hope you can make that! (I'm not 100% sure of the time; I have to check with Skippy to make sure I've got it right.)

I would love to go to this; too bad I am not there earlier!!! You guys post the coolest pics

Just confirmed the time and based on when Skippy lands I think we''ll meet at Grand Lux in the lobby area at 2:00 on the 27th.

So so far it looks like Catmom, pjean and me at the gem show on Sunday. (Pjean, we usually meet around noon at Harry Carey''s at 10233 Higgins Road in Rosement and go to the gem show from there.)

BTW Catmom, I *might* be working on a little color again...

I forgot to respond to the actual topic, the gem show...duh. I am unsure at this point about my job situation, and sadly I HOPE I will have to work that weekend, ha! I will certainly try to make it, though, I love spending time with you fabulous ladies staring at endless aisles of bling. So count me in tentatively, Deejay, I will definitely try to make it if I''m not working that Sunday.

Sunday - Harry Caray''s at 12:00 (10233 W. Higgins Road)
For anyone who hasn''t been there before (pjean, you''re still coming, right?!) we always sit at one of the high tables right by the door. You can''t miss us! We''ll go over to the gem show (it''s right by there) from the restaurant.


Tuesday - Grand Lux at 2:00 (600 N. Michigan Avenue)
We should meet in the downstairs lobby area at the bottom of the escalators and once we know how many of us there are we can go upstairs. Note that the entrace is actually on Ohio, so go around Ann Taylor to find the door.
