I don't think the stone looks super dark in your photos. Put some aluminum foil around the edges, to emulate a halo, and see if it gets much darker.

I will try the aluminum foil trick and see.... I cam trying to throw up another picture but it keeps telling me the entity size is too large... Perhaps I need to use smaller files? Do we have a limit on images uploaded to the forums?

Yes, there is a file size limit although I do not recall what it is at the moment.

I don't think so! But that's coming from someone who likes bling and who has larger hands. But that's also a classic style which is very pretty.

I love it too... More importantly, she loves it. Stone, setting, shipping and all came to right about $4K. Got the Montana from gemfix and setting from James Allen.

Along the way, the community here was so valuable. So thanks all! Will be around when I start working on the montana sapphire earings...

I was going to say that I found that hard to believe that was a sapphire as the color is so un-sapphire like until you said it was a Montana (guess I had forgotten)! Anyway, I love it! The color is beautiful and uncommon and the ring is lovely! Congratulations on a job well done!
