My sweet hubby bought me some gorgeous sapphire earrings for Christmas (my birthstone). They are from Blue Nile and are super sparkly. Not sure of carat weight, but they are each 5mm. I was very surprised as we had a spending limit and these fell way outside of it, taking into account the other goodies he got me. He's a keeper. :-) I told him this was going to get him in more trouble as now I want some jackets for them!

Really love the blue-blueness of your Christmas sapphires - they seem very well-matched too - stunning as studs but I can totally imagine them in diamond jackets too!

I have jackets on the brain so badly that as I was searching, I came across some pretty cool ones in white gold (non diamond) that might hold me till I can beg for the diamond jackets! Does anyone have any that are not diamond?
