Christmas Tree Lights- White or Multicolored?

I LOVE a tree with all white lights. Something so beautiful about it..like stars twinkling inside your home.

I so agree that white lights are elegant and timeless, but I insist on multicolor lights. I cant help but smile when I see them. It reminds me of being a little kid and it reminds me of A Christmas Story. I know that white lights are "prettier", but the multicolor makes me happier.

White. In the future when Amelia cares, I'd love to have two trees...one for the way I like it and another for her to decorate as she pleases. Since that probably won't be practical, I'll probably make a game of it by making it the tackiest tree ever, complete with every winner from Kimberly H's ugly ornament contest.
