chunky cushion in Parade Design setting

After several months of searching for the needle in the haystack, then another 6 weeks waiting for the replacement engagement ring setting, my ring is complete.

A chunky, almost square, cushion set in a Parade Design setting with side pears surrounded by rose gold and pink pave with a knife edge and white pave diamonds down the shank.

For those that weren''t aware, this ring was originally set with an Asscher, but after adding the wedding band, the stone looked out of place. Also, there was some damage done on the setting (millgrain was polished off) so my jeweler replaced it for me with a brand new setting. I''m very pleased!!!

It''s snowing today so my lighting is limited. I''m not the best photog anyway, but hopefully you can still enjoy!

Last one. The cross shows up more on this one. I don''t see it so much looking at it, but it sure shows up on camera. Not sure if the cross is a bad thing or not, but I know I love my new cushion and I thank every PS chunky cushion lover for introducing them to me and helping me make my ring complete!

Wow, what a smashingly gorgeous cushion! I do love the chunky ones so much.

That maltese cross thing you see is just something that some cushions do... antique cushions especially. So it makes yours look even more antique-like. I like cross pattern, it''s really cool and subtle in person usually.
