I''m looking at my post-thanksgiving house disaster (there''s only two of us, how did it get so bad?) and I''m NOT looking forward to cleaning.
We used to have a maid, and I was always so amazed how I could be gone for just a few hours a day and come home to a sparkling clean house. What is the MAGIC here? What secret tips does this lady have that makes her able to whip through a house so fast?!?
So I figured I''d start a thread to see if any of you have any shortcuts that make cleaning go by faster. A couple I automatically do:
1. Organize my silverwear in the washing machine. I heard that you aren''t supposed to do that, but I do it anyway because I feel like it saves time.
2. Keep one vaccum upstairs and one vaccum downstairs (same thing with cleaning supplies) so that I don''t constantly have to run up and down the stairs.
3. Dust and clean all counters/shelves before vaccuming (okay this may just be common sense)
Do you guys have any tips that help you to breeze through the house?
