Clueless... advice most welcome!

Dear All

I am beginning the mission to find an engagement ring for my partner. I have read information online and a lot of posts on here, yet still seem completely out of my depth!

Her requirements are: A sparkly square shaped diamond with a platinum split shank setting.

Mine: $6000 (possibly a bit more!)

Any help and advice would be most welcome!

Squares come in several varieties: princess, asscher, radiant, and cushion are the main square types... which one would you like?

However, I think it would be Princess!
