Cluster ring or Halo ring, What's the difference?

Let me try to explain how I understand it... A halo has a big stone in the middle, like a diamond or a colored gem, and it is surrounded by a circle of smaller diamonds. It looks like a halo of light around the center stone. A cluster ring has a bunch of small stones that are set close together, so they look like one big stone. A cluster is a group of small stones placed closely together to give the illusion of one larger stone. The confusing part is a cluster can be created with diamonds or gems of the same size, or with a single larger one surrounded by smaller diamonds.

I’m happy I found this post. Can anyone look at this picture and tell me if this is what I always thought it was; a diamond cluster ring? Can anyone give me any help with it as far as resell value or anything. It has 23 real diamonds, 14K white gold, 2TW, and has the imprint “NDI” inside the band. Maybe even how old it is? Thanks!
