Color, cut, carat or cost?

I am looking to purchase with a 3000 to 4000 budget. The diamond will be set in a yellow gold setting with .86 carats round and baguette side stones. Is my money better spent on high quality cut/clarity round with I color or should I look for lower cut/clarity/size with better color.

VS2
56% Table
62% Depth
34.2° Crown angle
40.9° Pavilion angle
Polish/Symetry are Ideal
for approx $4000

Without knowing more about the center stone in the ring that you've found, nobody can give you an accurate assessment of the two diamonds, but the 0.93 carat you mention seems to have the potential to be a nice stone... We'd always like to see the total depth of the stone be less than 61.8% but 0.2% isn't going to have that much effect - especially since the diamond has a great pavilion angle!
