Colors and themes

What are your wedding "themes" and/or colors?

I am really struggling with deciding on colors and how it fits the "theme" that I am going for.

Basically, my wedding is going to have a "summery", evening feel - think lots of candlelight, cocktails on the patio, not ornate/super formal at all. About 200 people, at a country club. Buffet dinner. Lots of windows overlooking a golf course. Flirty fonts on invites/place-cards, and lots of dancing!

We are all over the place with colors, but our latest idea is a palette of blues. Cobalt blue, light blue, white...you get the idea. Is this a bad contrast against a summer wedding, which might incorporate warmer colors?

No it sounds light and airy to me. My first thoughts were light blue and light green or light pink and light green.

We''re doing light blue and light green in the summer! I don''t think people feel the need to do colors based on the season so much anymore. If you like it... do it!

i love the idea of different shades of the same color. I think it looks very cohesive and pretty.

Definitely not..an example is Mediterranean blue from Vera Bradley..pretty sure that was a summer color. Either way, that pattern always reminded me of summer and it''s a mix of blue shades, whites, and greens.

Now my wedding: also summery feel..we''re doing a garden theme/floral theme since it''s in a garden (that''s kind of an obvious one, lol). Colors are a light sage green, light pink (but no baby pink), silver, and creme/ivory tones. Invites were floral, save the dates were a story line, both had all the colors in them, etc.

oh....i love the "summer blues" i like that it goes into kind of sea blue/aqua...its so pretty!
