Comments about your engagement ring being....?

Many of you know that I am a serial resetter. Well, my last reset, makes my overall ring look ginormous! It really does. And that is what people comment about it! They say it's huge!!! But then they say it's beautiful! I think the effect is due to how high it sits and how it is surrounded by all gold. Anyhow, as much as I am loving the compliments, I'm beginning to feel self-conscious! Hubby thinks it's just an excuse for another reset ! Now here's the odd part-- I'm totally reluctant to reset it ( I have the old setting still) Bc I'm afraid everyone who knows me will ask what happened to my ring!!!

Mine has been called "cute"a few times by strangers. I can see how someone would say that though. It's under a half carat and has a dainty band.

I just looked to see your ring and thought ah it's Ginormica I remember that ring! It looks fabulous on you.

I know the main thing I get is "different" and "big". That's because it's chunky. I guess everyone is used to delicate halos. Sometimes it's said in a good way and sometimes in a not so good way but I always just say thank you.
