This Asscher has gotten my interest.

Please note that it is a J color, but is classified as an Expert Selection..

Any thoughts?

I''m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but that stone sure looks pretty to me.

The patterns seem nice. Light leakage looks minimal.

The expert who should give it a thumbs up or down is Storm. If he says it''s right, then you can take that to the bank.

Good luck........

i had my eye on this asscher! it looks like a beauty to me. some people aren''t comfortable with the ''j'' color, but tierhog just picked up a beautiful ''j'' after comparing it to another ''h''. i think this would be very very nice.

Oh, I''ve been ogling that one as well! Now if only it was 82% smaller, I''d snatch it up myself!

I''m curious to see what strmrdr has to say about it.

One of my big oncerns is the J color, since it is likely to go in a platinum setting.....

not seeing picture?
Will check back later....

you need to have it sent to you so you can decide for yourself. it would be crazy to have people guess about whether or not you will like the color. stop guessing and have a look!

Defender, some would say that in a stone like an Asscher, one has to be more concerned about color. I would bet that this stone faces up quite white. If anything, it might have a slight warmth to it, but it will probably set in Platinum just fine. If you are overly color conscious, it might be an issue, for most people, they''d likely never see the difference.

I''m guessing this is a GOG stone, right? Ask them their impression. They''ll be very honest with you.

It will likely show some color in some light conditions but if its a good J might be acceptable to some people who arent color fussy.

Heres a big picture:

Yup, have it sent to you. If it''s too warm for you send it back. Nice asscher though.
