Compact powder expiration date?

my friend got me a shiseido compact powder 2 summers ago, i only used a little bit of it, should i still continue to use it even though it has been around for 2 years?

does anyone know how long is compact powder good for?

I have compact powders and eye shadows that I have had for decades [literally]. I still use them and they are fine.
