I've learned a great deal on the PS forums (thanks all!), and am getting close to making a purchase. I'm looking at the three stones below, and was curious to hear everyone's opinion? I'm also providing a link to each so you can take a look at their plots.

All of them have good cuts and nice looking IS images.

The GOG stone has slightly shorter LGF lengths, which is why the arrows are a little fatter. Some like the look of the shorter lgf, some like longer, try a search to see what you like.

The two BGD diamonds are nice. The first has the red flag "clarity grade is based on clouds not shown". This means the diamond needs to be checked out by an expert to make sure that its optics are not affected. Brian qualifies as such an expert in my opinion, so if he thinks the diamond is a winner, then you probably don''t have to worry about it. I would ask brian to compare the two diamonds you are thinking about and give his opinion. One might be a "High J" bordering on I color and that could tip you over.

The JA is nice, but they dont have the same policies of the other vendors re upgrades etc so I tend not to prefer them. Still, that may not matter to you, and it is less money.

One other thing. Have you seen J colored diamonds in person? That color grade is not for everyone. Some love it, and some don''t like the slight tint. Not yellow, usually like a warm cream in some lighting.
