Complete ERD set

I realized that I never really posted any pictures of my ERD remake (the setting got damaged and during the remake I changed the basket and prongs to rose gold) or husband's ring. The photos aren't spectacular but I really love my set and ERD! Mark T. is always amazing to deal with AND I think my husband's ring is pretty unique and may be of interest to some people not looking for a "traditional" men's ring. I plan on upgrading my center stone soon so this is the last post for that baby. You people gave me DSS before I even got the first ring. Here are some specs on all three pieces.

My engagement ring:
1.16 J-SI1, GIA VG with EX Symmetry and VG polish. The setting has 1.10 cts set in platinum and 18kt rose gold.

My wedding band:
18kt rose gold with .48cts of diamonds

His wedding band:
18kt white gold with 2.59 cts. of black diamonds and 1.10 cts. of white diamonds.

DH said that I can upgrade until I get to my desired size as long as I don't change the setting since he picked that

I'm searching a little just to know if what I want/can afford is out there. I need to sell this one first so I have a good chunk in my upgrade bank.

Well, your hubby did an outstanding job picking the setting - it's exquisite!!! I just love the two tone metals. And, if you're looking to upgrade the stone but keep the setting, you might want to consider an OEC with a warm color. Maybe even as low as O/P. Some of the most stunning rings on Pricescope (Haven's, Ganesha, the recent ERD RG halo), are OPs in rose gold. They look incredible (and would allow you to stretch your budget to a much larger stone ).

Rosebloom: I started looking at Ks recently as I don't think moving from a J to a K is that big of a change. Seeing Mrs. Jam and coatimundi's Ks made me consider.

Thank you ladies. I honestly wouldn't even know where to start in trying to find an OEC. I would need a lot of help What is the place to get one eBay, GOG, ERD, JBEG, etc. So far I have only dealt with ERD and would love to continue that relationship but of course if I end up consigning with one of the other companies they will give me a better deal on my new stone...

I realized I missed your thread when I read the one about almost losing the wedding band! You need a little ring holder thing where you put it anytime you take it off. That's the only way I don't lose my rings!

These are beautiful! Did ERD make the rose gold band custom for you? It is so pretty!

I am not sure you can put a larger stone in your e-ring setting, though. Did you ask Mark if the head could be taken off and replaced for a larger stone? I would think it might be expensive to do that.
