I am over the moon with this completed project. I wanted an emerald cut trilogy ring and I liked the idea of a blue grey central stone.

I had been looking for a while when I found what I hoped was the perfect stone on Instagram listed by Annie of Haydenfred Gems. Annie sent me lots of info and videos and then she matched some side stones for me. The whole process was easy and stress free.

When the stones arrived I was stunned by the central spinel’s different personalities- in some lights it looks a deep blue, at other times it’s grey with blue flashes and then sometimes it has lilac and pink flashes. Even at its most boring of “just grey” it’s still spectacular. The cut is phenomenal and it literally dances in the light. I’m really thrilled.

Anyway enough talk .......

@LD , I was anticipating this project after I saw your initial thread on the stone. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and we need lots more shot, in the sun and indoors. I want to see it’s different hues!

I love it. Enjoy it!

More photos as requested @T L This shows the range of colours in exactly the same lighting (indoors with no lights in).

The one thing I love about grey spinel is it’s ability to be such a chameleon. Sometimes purple tones, sometimes blue. Your ring is stunning and I bet it’s giving you hours of fun trying to discover all of its personalities. :kiss2:

Your new ring is stunning. So classic and timeless. Congrats!

I love the moody colors and clean lines!

I love it! It’s amazing how different it looks in different light and I love the classic shape.

That is just a spectacular ring.

Wow that’s lovely! How did you contact LOGR? I bought a ring from them years ago and then they shut down their Etsy store and I haven’t been able to find them since.

They have a website and it has an email address. Just a warning though - they’ve really increased their prices.

What a magical stone, great size and cut too and I love the setting!
