I like it! It's different but it's not off the wall or anything! I can't wait to watch how it progresses! I keep forgetting to take top and side of rings pics, but I will get them here!

Ok, SCG, you've talked me into it! Its not modeled after a jBEG design, but off the head of this setting. Side and front view below. Will be with a plain shank.

That ring looks fantastic. So unique but still so classic!... The side profile reminds me a little bit of Durnell and halo/bezel but with prongs like almost. Can't wait for this... when do you start?

Didn't mean to leave this thread high and dry! I know you've chosen to go with Plat, but for future folks that might find this thread, no, I haven't had any problems with the prongs on my ring.

Thanks, Dani, that's good to know. If my bf hadn't been kind of traditional, I think we really would have done it, I didn't hear too many things that worried me (for future folks).
