Conclusion (sort of) to this segment of my search

Just to update the few of you who have been kind enough to offer me assistance, I never again heard from Swala after I requested another photo and a more detailed description of the tsavorite. Perhaps it is just as well. Africa is a long way off and Swala had to be willing to provide all the info I requested before I would consider purchasing the stone.
Anyway, perhaps with patience a tsavorite will somehow come my way. In the meantime I just might set the mahenge and if I do I will be certain to post photos.

OP, for future reference, you'll be better served (i.e. get more responses) if you keep all information about one topic/project to ONE thread, instead of posting a new thread every time there is a new development. It's much easier for an audience to have to look at one thread instead of having to go search for every thread. Also, should YOU need to go back and look for something, then you just have to go through one thread instead of having to search through multiple threads.

Thanks Freke, cuz I was confused too. JW: fwiw, and I'm sure you get this, after a while some vendors throw in the towel if they feel that its too much work with someone they haven't dealt with before. I guess I might feel the same if I were a vendor..

Thanks, Freke. I will do as suggested in the future (hopefully I can figure out how - I'm a bit computer illiterate!).
And Minous, I agree with you and although I was disappointed, I understand Swala's point of view.
