It looks like I was typing my question are you were already answering it!
And if you want the diamond to ' pop' then a thinner band in the region of between 2- 3mm can make the most of the stone IMO. As to the cut quality, we can't tell much without the other info as I said earlier, but it does have good proportions which means it is probably a well cut diamond - but without images of the actual stone then that is limiting as to what we can ascertain.
