No snow yet, but it''s a comin tomorrow night! 6 inches is the prediction as of now.

We only got a couple inches of snow but it was actually blown around into big drifts instead of just blanketing the ground consistently since the winds were so bad last night. I just saw a snowplow going down a side street...it was too windy all night for them to even bother plowing, the snow just would''ve blown right back over the streets.

It is 55 here!!! Cold and cloudy out and I still don''t feel well from having the flu for the past 4 days. Blah!!!

Ellen: I''ll gladly send 55 degree weather to you

And I thought our weather was bad!!

Have to say I hate getting up for the school run, just to have to sit in a freezing car for ten minutes while the windscreen defrosts!!

Course the kids love it, ''lets just walk to school mummy''......... yeah right!! What do I look like? Stupid?

Friends of our got their chimney blown off last night. My mom and dad''s water pipes burst. And, my grandparents lost part of their roof. But, all is well.

Both my dad and my brother plow. They were out all night trying to keep one lane clear. They both gave up and went home to bed.

There''s hardly any snow on the ground today. Mostly just drifts.

It''s supposed to snow more Thurs and Fri.

Feels better out there today, Sharon. Stay warm!!!!

Goodness! I''ll have to say that I LOVE the weather in NC!!! We lived an hour from Chicago long ago, and it was amazing to me Dee Jay that people ever settled there! It was COOOOOLD and there was waaaay too much snow! It took me several years to get excited about seeing snow again since we rarely see it here.

Stay warm, Ellen and the rest of you up north!

Thanks ds! We''re warm, and watching the snow. Predictions are 6-8 inches.

Did you get a winter wonderland!! Right now it is pouring buckets outside with bits of ice
14.gif
. I hate this weather... And now with the temperature dropping, 38 to 27, my driveway will be a frozen solid 90 degree angle of ice in the morning (I might be exaggerating a bit on the 90 degrees but it''s really steep and it scares me if I have to drive down it

We did! 8 inches of wonderful whiteness.

Did you get it bad??

Well it sure wasn''t as bad as I thought it was going to be. It warmed up a bit today so the ice melted pretty quickly this morning. Now it''s just cold, wet, and gray outside.
14.gif
Perfect day to stay in my jammies and continue on in my hunt for diamonds!!!

Well, it sounds dreary indeed, but I''ll take that over ice any day!

Ellen, what is the weather like out there now?

Storm, ya still have snow???

I heard another storm is suppose to makes it way through.

10 inches of snow so far its spose too stop in another hour but it sure dont look like it will.

Sheer craziness out there! I just did a showing in this blizzard. I had to tell people what was across the street from the unit because you couldn''t see from the windows!

The really crazy thing is that the agent called and asked me for this showing around noon TODAY so it's not like they made the appointment a few days ago and didn't know what they were getting into. My philosophy on ths one is that anyone who is willing to out *today* and see *anything* is a serious buyer, so I'm gonna show it no matter what the weather is like even if I have to strap The Demon and Oscar Trouble to a sled to get over there! MUSH!!!

Just looked outside, my car is totaly baried in blown snow it looks like a lump in a snowbank with nothing showing.
Snow is over the bumpers front and back.
Friend of mine is coming to dig it out tomorrow, there is no way my elbow will take cleaning it off.

I had it mostly cleared off around 1pm.

Geez Storm, what a mess.

Here I was complaining to my hubby about being sick of the cold weather, here in California. Guess I better keep my mouth shut.

This morning my car was covered in ice... I had to turn the hose on it to get it off. I know it''s not unusual where a lot of you all live, but here in L.A., usually the ice comes off with the windshield wipers. It''s just felt so icy cold lately.
