Carat: .9
Cost: just within my budget.

Any negatives I might not be seeing?

Its a tad deep but it doesnt look like its affecting the size too much. Can you get an idealscope image? Other than
that it looks like it could be a nice stone.

Edit - I see the light preformance is Ideal so probably dont need to worry about an idealscope. Do you have any pictures of the
stone or a link to it?

Budget is total $5000.

The thing is WhiteFlash is doing a custom band for me. It's a very specific piece that I want.

Should I hold out for them to post other diamonds?

Also, does a deeper diamond increase its brilliance (sparkle)?

I want J or better, VS2 or better, and .85 carat or more. The band I'm looking at is quite cheap: $400.
I could possibly stretch the price range, but not much.

What's a good determinating factor for when a diamond is too deep?

The limit I use is 62.3 percent for depth. I prefer 62.0 or less. Often you get a better diameter when the depth is less. I'll see what I can find.

I am going to suggest a much better stone. Higher color, top cut quality, and just slightly smaller than the J stone. I'd personally choose this over the J. It will be much whiter. I know you said VS2, and I also prefer that, but this one is just better overall to me.

It's "semi-custom". Anything 'SI' really bothers me because I can see those inclusions. I feel like that is a bigger deal than the intangible "extra sparkle" the hearts may yield.. What do you think, though?



Also, is B2C Jewelers reputable? It looks like they have better prices than WF and others.
