Croghan's Jewel Box Halloween edition!

Thank you to Rosebloom, and Gemtastic before her, to tell us PSers about this place! I got my "fun for Halloween" manicure a few days ago (Butter London sun baked), but after beach combing and visiting Fort Sumter, the manicure didn't hold up, I got some weird little bug bite on my hand and I needed some lotion-but I worked fast and got these pics the last half hour they were open :errrr:
They are mostly craptastic, but I did my best to document the Single Stone pretties I liked best.
So without further ado:

I hate to do this to you all, I mean y'all, but it's bedtime, more tomorrow, promise. 'Night!

Gorgeous!! Love that sapphire and diamond french cut eternity. Love them all. I just want to sleep over at Single stone, sleeping bag and all. I can't afford all (any) of their eternities. So if they won't come to me, I'll go to them. ;) If only...

Darn that one came out poorly

Ring baby!

How lovely! I am gushing over that sapphire diamond bezel band in the first photo!

The diamond halo version of mine and another Single Stone lovely.

Another pretty Single Stone...I apologize again for the poor fast photography...
Then this is a bezeled vintage with some graduated stones down the sides, kind of cushiony, pillowy. Very beautiful and I think the price was good-$9,000?

That's all I could get in 30 minutes, hope you enjoyed. My faves are the rose gold eternity, ruby channel set, and that last sapphire, sigh. I really can't get anything right now, but it's nice to dream. The staff was very accomodating, and nice. They had lots of oec's around for those looking for them (I didn't ask about unmounted ones). And Happy Halloween!

LLJ'smom, I'm in the same boat. Joolsiepetunia, I like that one too. It just didn't agree with my skin tone.

Wow, don't know what I love more - the bling or your nails! Love the color of your nails. So many pretty rings, but I'd have to pick the antique cushion sapphire; I'm a sucker of that deep blue and love the detailing on the sides of the ring.

:lickout: What yummy eye candy, thank you!! I love the color on your nails! I'm always wishing that I'd be bold and try a color and then I chicken out and go for my usual French or American!

I have to agree with Minou...that sapphire is incredible!!

Lovely fingers! Super fun place, right? Haven't been back in the last few weeks....am on a tight budget after my last purchase from there
There is so much to look at and try on. It really is a special place.

Beautiful bling! Love the sapphire ring and all of the eternities :lickout:

Gorgeous!! Isn't that place amazing? I'm in love with the bezeled alternating sapphire and diamond eternity. Perfection. Thanks for the eye candy!!

I love the ruby bezel band your daughter was wearing. Actually, I love them all!

I have no idea how I missed this, but the first place I go the next time I am down there is that jewelry store!!!! Love all the pics! Thanks for taking them! I'll bet they were surprised to see your beautiful e-ring!!!

Hey, you know ds, they said one thing that may be of some help to you in the future. I'm not sure if you are still toying with the idea of a reset, but their observation was that sometimes there are some intricate Single Stone settings that just seem to look better with larger stones. I could see what they mean in person when looking at many and comparing them. It is also not true for every setting they make. Just know your stone is big enough to handle anything!

Thanks for sharing the beauties!

I'm heading down to Charleston for 9 days over Christmas and will definitely stop in. It's nice to see they don't mind if you take pictures.

I totally agree with that concept! I am not sure my stone is big enough, but I agree that some settings look much better with larger stones. Plus, with SS settings, you just really can't fully appreciate them until you see them! I saw Yenny's rings in Las Vegas and absolutely adore them! So I am looking forward to seeing more SS pieces when I get down there again. We may go in the winter or spring but will be there for 2 weeks in the summer.

And yes, I definitely plan to reset once I am really sure of what I want my absolute FINAL setting to be! :twirl:

Thanks! My folks live there but it always seems so hard to find time without kids (and preferably husband!) to browse. Priorities, people, priorities!
