Where is the best place to find / buy gems? i am looking for a Cushion Cut Garnet Pendant with a Halo (small stones or chips, nothing crazy $$) setting in 14k white gold for mothers day.

What colour garnet are you looking for?
What is the approximate mm size you are looking for?

You may not have enough time to buy the stone and setting separately, otherwise I would have advised a LOGR or Lanbo halo setting.

My daughter’s birth stone is Garnet she was born in January so that’s the color stone I am looking for. for what I have seen online it’s a dark red color, correct
I have poked around online and found stuff from 250 -500+ ideally I would like to stay 500 or less
Not sure on the MM, your thoughts? My wife is on the smaller side so nothing to large or gaudy, seems to be 7 – 10 is average on some of the internet sites

i have seen the stuff on BN was not sure if there were other sites to look at. Made is fine if i have it by mothers day and its nicer than what i can find already set.

The reason I asked because garnets come in a variety of colours from yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, green and I probably missed one or two more. Size is dependent on you. Some like it large, some like it smaller. I would try Etsy first. I would ask Daniel M if he has any cushions for you.
