Custom bands are done!

I just received my custom made bands to match my antique engagement ring. I really struggled if I should get one or two and I went ahead with two and I'm so happy I did. I love how different it looks if I have both bands vs one band. It makes it so versatile.

The process took a lot longer than they estimated causing a bit of stress but the way they turned out made it so worth it!

Do the bands stay where they are supposed to or do they rotate at all?

They stay together really well. I have wide knuckles so it keeps them squished together pretty well and wearing them today they didn't seem to rotate very much. I'm really happy the way they turned out.

Gorgeous pair of bands!! they are PERFECT matches to the ering - was that from LJN - antiqueengagementrings.com? The ering setting looks just like the one I picked out there for my OEC... but I changed my mind!!

Thank you all! I have to admit, I'm surprised how much I love the 3 bands together! My initial hesitation was that the bands would hide the rings beautiful basket but the jeweler made the bands so low profile you can still see the engagement rings beautiful setting! I'm so glad we went ahead and did two wedding bands. I'm really thrilled with how it turned out!

KellyRoss: It took a little over 6 weeks for them to be completed. The problem was they jeweler needed to keep my engagement ring during that time. Originally we were told he would take a mold of the engagement ring and use that to make the bands. It was estimated I would be without my engagement ring for 1-2 weeks. 6 weeks later I still didn't have it back. We also had a family reunion with family from the east coast visiting at the 6 week mark and I really wanted to show them my engagement ring! It all worked out in the end though!

Enerchi: The engagement ring was an antique from ebay. The bands were through a local jeweler here in Santa Barbara. He sends them to someone in LA for the work. I couldn't be happier with the final result. The bands match the ring so perfectly even down to the hand engraving!
