Custom diamond stud earrings & from BGD, AGS or GIA?

I am about to order diamond stud earrings from BGD (trying to find closest to 4 cttw as possible) E-G color, VVS-VS clarity, 3 prong martini with the la pousette backs. There is so much information regarding differences between AGS and GIA certifications I'm going batty. Does anyone have some helpful information as to which direction I should go? Ideal or excellent cut is preferred, just don't know which certification is most preferable.

If anyone has any feedback I'd definitely appreciate it.

********EDIT: After all of the other digging I did I JUST found the AGS/GIA discussion in the 'helpful threads' section. I guess I can answer my own question in that either would be fine as long as it's the top grading from either but if anyone wants to chime in please do!

Brian Gavin's Diamonds are generally sent to AGS. Be sure you are sticking to his signature and blue stones. Most of the others are virtual stones (just listed from a diamond supplier) and not his branded stones and mostly not in-house. If you want virtual stones, there are cheaper places to buy.

Hrrrmmm. I can't find it now. Maybe the category it's in changed? I just remember it being under a 'helpful threads' section on here. I know that's not much help.
