Not realizing that you went ahead with the project, I almost gave you the name of my local Ventura County jeweler. He does good work, but I'm not sure if he can compare as my erring is a simple split shank solitaire. (no side stones)

I can recommend Victor Canera and David Klass. Victor creates top notch work and he is super customer friendly. His work is perfect.

David does a good job for a very reasonable price. He is also very easygoing to work with. Not sure if he is downtown, but I guess so?

If Harry Winston is your inspiration, than I would contact Victor Canera. I am located in Europe and have worked with him several times as well as with David Klass. You can communicate very easily with them via e-mail.

Yes David is in downtown as well on S.Hill street. I have been using David for most of my custom pieces for over ten years now and he has been great to work with
