Custom ring quality question

I am debating David Klass or Whiteflash making a custom ring. Whiteflash is making the ring themselves. Simple design so that isn't a factor, I have the price difference. I was wondering if anyone has experience with either company in regards to:
1. Keeping deadlines
2. Quality

And how much cushion should I add to their timelines? For whiteflash, it isn't one of their partner companies, but they are doing it.
