I am very angry on your behalf, but as there is nothing I can do realistically, lets hope the UK FedEx diamond fairy makes a special early delivery to a certain Maisie Bell TODAY!!!!

Also did they explain why they figured that the words 1.03 round ideal on a package meant there may be ivory hiding within the package??? Forgive me if I am being thick, but I fail to see the connection....

That one stumped us too Lady Lorelei. If it said, like, 1.03 round narwhal we''d understand, but round ideal has never been flagged before ... and we certainly aren''t about to label a package "DIAMOND."

Maise - I know Vera was on the phone a bunch about this and sent an internal email to a half-dozen of us when it was finally released so we could stop gnashing our teeth. Very relieved.

Where do they get something like that from, I was wondering if the name Whiteflash may have to do with it being white coloured or ivory? but from 1.03 round ideal. It makes me wonder if there is something going on with buying jewellery abroad now and the trade over here. I notice a high street jeweller over here has lots of large solitaires on their website, something they never had before. High street jeweller beginnning with the letter B. They have chains up and down country. They have after their name ''the jewellers'' if that gives a hint. (don''t know if I can write name because of board rules). It just seems strange how their website has changed this past month, maybe for Xmas but never seen it other years.

Yes I wouldn't buy at their prices, but on the website there are pages of them, it is so weird. They always had all different styled rings and up to about £3000 and maybe two large solitaires, now there are about twenty all the same style going up in carat weight between £6000 up to £15000. This would not be strange in USA but for those not over here it is very strange, we may have a couple of large solitaires in each jeweller, never this amount and they stay there year after year unsold.

Yes I suppose that is what they have to charge with keeping their stores on high streets and in shopping centres etc. I don't know, when I first saw it I thought it was a computer error and some other site had taken the link or something from them, I don't know a computer glitch, I couldn't believe it. I wonder if they will all disappear off the site after Xmas. People who want bigger diamonds have probably been on internet but they also know they can get even bigger diamonds or different 4C's for that price including VAT/duties, so I don't think they would be buying from them, but then there is always the uneducated customers who buy in the first place from chain stores. They may see people with larger diamond solitaire rings from internet and want same.
