but its probably not accessible enough for me to get there regularly. If I can''t get there within 10 minutes from CC- I can''t get there much. Just don''t have that kind of time to spend en route to the rink unfortunately

I always HATED running in the past, but I decided that, since running IS really the most efficient form of cardio you can do to lose the fat, I would start incorporating it into my workouts. A couple of weeks ago I got motivated to make myself into a real ''runner,'' bought some great shoes, and found an excellent training program, which i''m in the middle of right now. It''s called the ''Couch to 5K'' or C25K for short. I was already off the couch in the sense that I have been working out pretty regularly for years, so I started on Week 3 of the program instead of Week 1. I NEVER thought I''d enjoy running...but since I''ve been doing it for a couple weeks now, I''ve made dramatic improvement in endurance, and I''ve really learned how to enjoy it! I find myself itching to go running every day...and trust me, I wouldn''t have EVER believed that I would actually WANT to run!!!
I could have posted this exact post!!! I itch to go running everyday, and I didn''t start running till 1 month ago. I''m actually thinking of entering a 5K this next month Oct. 16th in Long Beach. That''s only about a month a day, but I easily run 2 miles a day at the gym already, and 5K is only 3.1 miles!
 
Jaysonsmom, I want to enter a 5k before long too! Isn''t it crazy to suddenly like running when you never thought it was humanly possible for you to like it???
