Debebians?

Has anyone here done business with Debebians before?

I talked to them about a Platinum mens wedding band on their site http://www.debebians.com/6mmplmewerid.html;
not only does their price seem really low for Pt, but the guy on the phone put me on hold to check the alloy for me... 5% Iridium.

950Pt with iridium is soft, but is that necessarily a problem with a simple band?

and apparently this alloy pits with age.. true?

I definitely would not do a men's band in 95plat/5iridium. It is soft and will get too scratched up. 90/10iridium is harder, and 95plat/5ruthenium is even harder. Tiffany bands have the ruthenium alloy. I really do not know who sells the harder alloys aside from Tiffany unless you have one custom made.

Mark Morrell or Victor Canera will make you one with the 90/10. I'd either do that or Tiffany which is harder.
