**Delster** - was thinking of your dress recently

Hey Delster! We were doing some bridesmaid dress shopping this weekend, and the one we think we're going for reminded me of your dress dilemma. I don't know if you've picked something yet, and this is all fairly random but I said I'd throw it out there anyways.

Right so here's the BM dress we were looking at. And it occurred to me that that chiffon halterneck (in the same kind of chiffon as the SE dress) would look great on your Suzanne Ermann dress, and would give it the bit of Grace Kelly elegance you liked about the other one.

Now it might look ridiculous, it might be too much, and might not be possible to do at all. Just an idea

Awww thanks Porridge, you''re such a sweetie! Did you go with that bridesmaid''s dress in the end? It''s gorgeous!

Unfortunately a halter neck is not an option for me as I can''t stand anything close to my neck. Every bridal shop I''ve visited the sales assistants have put me in variations on the Pronovias Habana (linky here) and they ooh and aah about Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly and I tug at the fabric at my neck and choke and splutter and actually start to feel my skin crawl! It''s completely irrational and ridiculous but there it is... I was a good sport and I tried on a few halter necks as well in case I was able to tolerate them better than the Habana style neckline, but nope, same thing. Such a pity as some of them were very pretty.

But you are so sweet to think of me! How goes the planning for you?

No problem! When I first thought of it I said "oooh dear, first signs that pricescope is taking over my life!".

I think we will go with that dress, the girls all love it, as do I. And not to be biased, but they look way better in it than the model does

Planning is coming along, we''re in the middle of hen planning which I cannot wait for. I say *we*...the girls want to organise everything themselves so I''m not sure what''s going on yet! I heard Edinburgh or Kilkenny being thrown around.
And I *think* we may have invited everyone we met at the races this weekend

That Habana is nice, but I''m mad about the Suzanne Ermann, I think it''s just stunning. I want one! Even a short one for the day after or something...gorgeous stuff. I can''t wait to see what you choose!

Porridge there''s a poster on WOL who had those dresses for her bridesmaids - I was mulling it over last night where had I seen it before and then it hit me. If you put Jim Hjelm into the search on there you''ll find her, she had the dresses in eggplant/purple. I don''t think she has her wedding day report up yet but if she puts up the photos you''ll get to see real life pictures! It''s such a beautiful dress

Edinburgh and Kilkenny both sound like great fun!

Wow Delster there''s a few on there for sale in my colour and the sizes I''m looking for. You may have saved me a bundle here...a bit nervous about buying like this though...but with pics etc, it should be ok right?? I''ll mull it over for a few days.

I know I can''t wait to see where we end up, and what we end up doing!
We''re also planning a "respectable" hen, for aunts and cousins and future in laws etc. We were thinking of food and maybe a cocktail class or some kind of activity like that...

Respectable hen. Very good idea. Must note that one down. I saw The Proposal the other night with my BMs and I am now terrified because those girls got way too much gigglement out of the stripper scene...
