Hi all!
Delurking after almost a year, saying 'hi' and showing my small but growing diamond collection. I've never liked 'traditional' diamonds at ALL, and so when my lovely boyfriend started talking engagement jewelry, I started from almost zero and had to go looking. This lead me to this board, the wonderful James Meyer, and my lovely white and green gold, .89 O/P SI1 ring.

Anyway, I find I LOVE lower colored OEC diamonds, and so as a stopgap while saving for a giant doorknockin' OEC ring, bought a pair of 2ctw Asha OECs (my fiance hates 'fake', I think they look fine for what they are) and last night bought a project pair of diamonds from DiamondZone, they're probably going in BGD milgrain studs, assuming I like them when they get here:

Vintage diamonds are the LAST thing I thought I'd start liking in my mid 40s, but wanted to post for once and thank you all for sharing your extensive knowledge and inspiring pictures. It's a fun learning experience!
