Hello! We recently returned from a deployment to Afghanistan and decided it was time to get a bigger diamond! I was looking to go a little bigger as I currently have a 1.28 RB VS2 H with medium blue fluorescence. I plan on eventually using that stone in a 3 stone ring at a later time.

So now the search begins! I know this is not a huge jump, but I was looking to get a nice, well cut 1.5-ish RB. To stay within budget, I think I may need to consider going as low as I in color and SI1 in clarity. Do you think I should look for an I with fluorescence or would it still appear white without it? Not sure if this influences anything, but I am thinking about setting the new stone in Vatche's Swan with pave.

Meanwhile, I've found these options and wanted to know what you think is the better deal.

Hi Delighted :wavey:

I am more of a lurker than an expert so I will simply bump the thread so someone spots it and gives you some great advice.

I just wanted to pop in and say Thank you for your service!

Not sure if it is worth it if you will get a 3 stone. But if you want the size, I color is very nice.

Thank you for the help and for your support!

Sorry if my post was confusing. I meant that I would use my current stone in a 3 stone at a later date. I'm looking for a 1.5 diamond for my new solitaire wedding ring

Is this new diamond going to be your forever diamond? Or will you upgrade again later on down the road? I was just curious as if you buy from WF you should know what their upgrade program is.

I would love to upgrade again in the future but it probably wouldn't be for some time.
