Do you want an little after party to share with friends/family if it wasn't in public? No. I want to celebrate with just him
How will you spread the news? Smoke signals, carrier pidgeons, FB texts/ calls, visits in person
Does your FF know of any 'must haves' or 'absolutely nots' in terms of your preferences? Yeh we've spoken about it a few times so he has a general idea of what I want

Ring or no ring: No ring.
Public or private: Either - public meaning strangers. Public meaning people I know? No.
Indoors or outdoors: I don't mind.
Simple gesture or grand affair. Or something in between? A simple gesture. Something grand and crazy would also be OK though!
Do you want it caught on film (photos or video)? No, not really.
Do you want an little after party to share with friends/family if it wasn't in public? No, in a perfect world I would like to keep it to ourselves for a day or so before we tell anyone at all! Then quietly spread the news.
How will you spread the news? I would like to tell our parents in person. I imagine my Dad will already know (I think SO will do the traditional ask), but not my Mum. We could see both sets within a day. I would also like to tell my Nana in person if I could swing it. Then call siblings, select extended family, and best friends, and then let it spread through them. I don't want to send a group text, or do a facebook thing, its not me at all!
Does your FF know of any 'must haves' or 'absolutely nots' in terms of your preferences? I don't think I have any absolutely nots! He does know that I don't want to be proposed to with a ring, but I wouldn't mind if he chose to either.
