Which prong setting do you think shows off diamonds better in a bracelet? I am looking at 3 and 4 prong and the shared prong bangle from Whiteflash. I know they don''t carry a 4 prong, but can get one? I know that each of these settings tends to give the diamonds an different shape and look, but do any of these enhance the size better?

Sorry, I can''t answer your question, but I''m bumping this for you. Surely, someone can offer their opinion for you.

Cheers........

i really like the shared prong bangle...a few of those on an arm? YUM!!!!!!!!

i also love the soltaire one, talk about showcasing THE stone.

otherwise i like 4 prong. i don''t really like how the 3 prongs make the stones look like little triangles.

I knew she could count on a response from you Mara!!!

Well you know that I like the shared prong bangle because I bought one, but I also think both the 3 and 4 prong tennis bracelets are pretty. To me, as Mara said, the 3 prong makes the stones look triangular and I think the 4 prong makes them look kind of square. As far as enhancing the size of the diamonds I think a bezel or semi-bezel set bracelet makes the stones look larger and rounder, but there is more metal showing than with other styles.

I''m sure if you call Whiteflash, they could get a 4 prong setting for you. I have the 3 prong bracelet from Whiteflash and love it. It does perhaps make the stones look a bit more triangular but it''s not glaring I don''t think. (that probably didn''t make sense) I guess I just mean I still think it''s a subtle look and I preferred less metal to the 4 prong bracelets.
